What makes your PM methodology unique?

We always start from the customer’s original question. That is both the starting point and the frame of reference. Thanks to our combination of in‑depth engineering expertise and pragmatic project management skills, we immediately translate that question into a technically feasible project. 
We work in synergy with the customer: clearly aligned, executed with purpose. Because an investment has to deliver returns. That requires focus, structure and an efficient approach. 
Additional work due to an ill-considered design? We consciously avoid it – in terms of cost, complexity, and safety and legislation. 
SPARQ brings control, sharpness, and just that extra spark.

How do you ensure a smooth handover from engineering to execution?

We take charge of the entire process, from engineering to execution. We know the phases of a project and understand that each phase requires different skills, a different approach, and different deliverables.
We always work with the end goal in mind: when does what need to be finished? From there we plan backwards, set our deadlines, and actively adjust timing and resources. 
At start-up, everything has to be in order. Documentation, safety checks and legal requirements are ready to go. We monitor that strictly. We own it. 
Who needs to be informed? What is required for a compliant start-up? How do we ensure knowledge transfer? We take care of it. 
With clear checklists and a transparent project folder structure, all information is available for a smooth, controlled handover.

How do you handle changes during the project?

We stay in control. Scope, budget, and timing are not details, but foundations. They always start from the original investment question. Deviating too far creates noise, wrong priorities, and loss of focus. We don’t let that happen.
At the same time, we are realistic. Markets change. Productions shift. Energy prices rise. We don’t ignore that. On the contrary: we help make well-founded choices when the context changes. We are enthusiastic engineers and see every change as a new opportunity.
We assess every change against one question: are we creating additional added value? Based on that, we scale up or down in a targeted way and bring in additional expertise where needed. No improvisation, but well-considered adjustments. Everything happens transparently and in consultation. One team, one direction, even when the path changes slightly.

How do you ensure transparent communication?

Own it. Clear, honest and proactive. We communicate in a timely way, state where we’re heading and don’t wait for issues to pile up.
